Junior Fabricator Job Description

Kyle Minor Design (KMD) is on the hunt for a junior fabricator to join our roster. Our projects range in size, material, and scope, but all share a high level of detail and expectation of top-notch craftsmanship. We design and build furniture and architectural details (staircases, retail shops, custom fixtures, storefronts, etc.) in a variety of materials; metal, wood, glass/plastics and more.

Responsibilities:

  • General fabrication - milling, cutting, drilling, sanding, assembly, joinery, machining, welding, and finishing

  • Loading and delivering materials, tools and work

  • Installing projects - site prep, installation, clean-up

  • Shop maintenance - cleaning, organizing, maintaining tools and equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in carpentry, millwork, metal fabrication, welding, or construction trades.

  • Basic knowledge of wood and steel fabrication

  • Comfortable working in both a shop and site environment

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

  • Stellar communication skills

  • Constant professionalism

Position Details:

Title: Junior Fabricator

Type: Full-Time Position

Hourly Rate: Based on experience.

Additional benefits: Paid vacation and sick leave. Retirement contribution system. Monthly health insurance stipend.

Working Hours: M-F 6:30am - 2:30pm. Saturdays and Sundays as required by workload

Annual bonus structure based on the individual’s success and overall success of the company
