Whitaker Stairs

WHITAKER STAIRS. The aim of this stairwell was to maintain the homes design scheme with a focus on safety. An exposed triangular stringer section supports the stairs, while uniting visually with a heavy duty, stainless steel mesh guard rail infill. Combined with industrial shipping container plywood for the steps, the structure allows light to travel through the space while containing children and tired adults.
